Most of Shashi Kapoor’s movies where he was the solo hero failed at the box office and that lends credibility to my theory about Shashi Kapoor not being all that saleable an actor to have such a long.

Begin the search into 'The Heart of the Dead', an 10+ hour quest adventure that will take you across the length of Cyrodiil in search of a rare Ayleid artifact. Visit old places with new twists, crawl along ancient dungeons and ruins, and follow the trail of clues as it leads you ever closer to the item known only as the Heart of the Dead.

Requires: Shivering Isles to play

Description

You approach the beggar slowly, the man’s sickly smile reminding you of the horrors of living on the street. 'Spare a coin?' He asks. Reluctantly you toss him a gold piece and tell him to go get dinner. 'Ah, what mercy,' the man says. 'You might be just the one I’m looking for…'

Thus begins 'The Heart of the Dead', an 10+ hour quest adventure that will take you across the length of Cyrodiil in search of a rare Ayleid artifact. Visit old places with new twists, crawl along ancient dungeons and ruins, and follow the trail of clues as it leads you ever closer to the item known only as the Heart of the Dead.

The basic setup is this: The player is hired by a dying beggar to find an ancient Ayleid artifact called the Heart of the Dead. Armed only with a single clue, the player must head all over the continent, finding clues that lead him deeper into the mystery of what the Heart is, and what it’s capable of. Along the way, he’ll meet up with Kat, a freewheeling thief who holds a dark secret, Dublin, a dark elf mage who’s looking to find his dead sister again, and Wintermoon, the Mystic Elf with a hidden connection to the Heart.

The quest will take the player to hidden places inside well known locations, as well as to all new lands and dreamscapes, as he tries to uncover the mystery of the Heart of the Dead..

Featuring:

Also recommended is a character 15th level or higher. A character lower than 15 can still play, but the quest can get quite tough for beginning levels.

Hope you enjoyed our Halloween 'Electrovania' Special! As a reminder, if you purchased For Everlasting Peace on iTunes, we could REALLY using more ratings & reviews!! And if you pre-ordered the physical on CD Baby, you should know that we're placing the manufacturing order THIS weekend and they should be in stock around the end of November and reach you before Xmas! Now on with the show.. Argle (Adam Kirby) surprises & delights with a fresh, upbeat electronic take on Oblivion which - while still working in some orchestral flavors, to be sure - has more beats & synths than I'm used to hearing from an Elder Scrolls mix, and is generally more aggressive, while still packing a lot of the retro-flavorings that Adam does so well:

'One of my favorite themes from Oblivion is the enchanting piano melody you hear every so often when you're exploring the world. It has a kind of loneliness to it, which is fitting for the massive wilderness environment of Cyrodiil.'

Not so lonely any more! Argle's given the motif plenty of company, with gated synths, breakbeatish drums, pulsewave leads, electric guitar @ 1'30', nice exposed string stabs backing up acoustic piano @ 1'55', and epic cinematic percussion that gets added in soon after. I'd say things climax at around 2'34', but Adam breaks things down and deconstructs the layers afterwards, halving the tempo @ 2'59' for the remaining minute or so as things march onward & outward. This is only our second posted mix from Oblivion specifically, though plenty of Jeremy Soule's other magnificent works have been arranged, including mixes of Skyrim & Morrowind. You don't hear Elder Scrolls done in this particular blend of retro-electronic/orchestral too often, and it wasn't a title I was expecting Argle to turn his attention to, but I'm sure glad he did. Great stuff; high-energy, slightly throwback electronic jam that still tastefully & effectively incorporates orchestral + cinematic elements for a fun ride with a vast scope!
